Dr. Allyson Bond
Allyson Bond, DVM, MBA
Managing Doctor

Dr. Bond is an Ohio native who grew up in Medina before moving to Columbus for college. She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees and her doctorate of veterinary medicine at The Ohio State University, graduating in 2015 from veterinary school. Dr. Bond is passionate about orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and client communication.

Outside of work, you may find Dr. Bond tasting new food at local Columbus restaurants, spending time with her friends and family, or checking off travel destinations from her never-ending bucket list. She resides in Hilliard with her husband, Randy, their two children, Reese and Parker, and her dog, Dex.

Dr. Robin Diers
Robin Diers, DVM
Associate Doctor

Dr. Diers joined Suburban in July of 2021. She graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and spent several years in a rural practice before moving to Columbus.

Dr. Dier’s veterinary interests include feline medicine, preventative care, and soft tissue surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and baking. She and her mom spend an entire day each year baking many cookies for the holidays, including some interesting recipes.

Dr. Diers and her husband are owned by 2 cats, Simon and Dude.

Dr. Ashley Maul
Ashley Maul, DVM, MBA

Associate Doctor

Dr. Maul received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Illinois. She is also certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture and holds a certification in Animal Chiropractic.

She and her husband, Errol, have several horses, 2 dogs, Gretta and Mabel, and 1 mischievous barn cat, Scampi. In her free time, Dr. Maul is an avid horse rider and competes in the equestrian sport of Dressage.

Her veterinary interests include dentistry, general preventative medicine, and sports medicine.

Valerie
Valerie, RVT
Practice Manager, Registered Veterinary Technician

Valerie graduated from Denison University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Sociology. She began her journey in veterinary medicine in 2005 and subsequently received her Veterinary Technology degree from Penn Foster College. Her passions are practicing fear-free medicine, anesthesia, surgery, and client education.

Outside of work, Valerie is an avid soccer fan. She follows Chelsea FC and is a Columbus Crew season ticket holder. Other interests include seeing live music and playing darts.

At home, she and her husband spend time cuddling their two tuxedo cats, Basil and Barley.

Briyona
Briyona, RVT
Registered Veterinary Technician

Bri graduated from Bradford Veterinary Technician Institute and has been practicing veterinary medicine for 10 years. She most enjoys making a difference in someone’s life. Bri understands that we never know other’s story or what they are going through, so she always provides compassionate care while practicing with love and patience… and always with a smile.

At home, Bri enjoys spending time with family and watching movies. She also loves photography and says, “People and memories fade away, but pictures are forever.”

Her crew at home includes her Rottweiler Jewels and two black kitties, Miracle and Simba.

Darren
Darren, RVT
Registered Veterinary Technician

Darren graduated from the Bradford Veterinary Technician Institute in 2018. He prides himself in providing top quality care to pets and enjoys providing the client education pet parents need to succeed in keeping their pets happy and healthy.

Outside of work, you can find Darren gardening, crafting, DIY around the house and playing with bugs.

His four-legged family includes Brookly, a fawn Doberman and Beckett, a Great Dane.

Jessica
Jessica, RVT
Registered Veterinary Technician

Jessica is an Ohio native and a 2019 graduate of the Kent State University – Tuscarawas campus Veterinary Technician Program. She joined Suburban in the summer of 2020.

Jessica lives in Delaware with her husband, 2 children, 2 horses, and several dogs and cats. Her hobbies include dirt bike riding and customizing model horses.

She started veterinary school in the fall of 2023 and is a proud member of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine’s Class of 2027.

Kim
Kim, Veterinary Assistant
Kim joined Suburban Animal Clinic in 2023 as a Veterinary Assistant. She has 23 years of veterinary experience including emergency, lab animal medicine, and general practice. She is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician Program to earn her degree as a veterinary technician.

Kim is an Ohio native and was raised on a horse farm riding jumpers and quarter horses. She is active in dog sports including agility, dock diving, rally, and scent work with the best dog ever, Flower. She and Flower are involved with Incredipaws and Columbus All Breeds.

Kim has three grown children, including a son in the Navy, and 4 granddaughters.

Jada
Jada, Veterinary Assistant
Jada graduated from Richland Community College in 2022 and is currently in Veterinary Technician school at Columbus State Community College. She has been in the veterinary field for 4 years. She most enjoys taking great care of her patients and making sure they are happy and thrive.

At home, Jada enjoys spending time with loved ones, painting, and taking her dog to the park. Her beloved dog, Shandy is a Labrador Retriever.

Taylor
Taylor, Veterinary Assistant
Taylor loves her career in veterinary medicine and is thinking she will work towards getting a degree in Veterinary Technology. She takes pride in her abilities to help people and their pets.

In her free time, Taylor enjoys hiking and training her dogs. She and her dogs compete in scent work.

Check this out! Taylor is owned by 6 dogs! Nero is a Chihuahua and Tiberius is a Chihuahua mix. Hoss and Kai are German Shepherds. Wyatt is a Heeler mix and Sorcha is a Husky mix.

Tyrese, Veterinary Assistant
Tyrese joined Suburban as a Veterinary Assistant in 2023. He is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is currently enrolled in The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine Class of 2026. Tyrese is enjoying exploring all aspects of veterinary medicine.

Tyrese lives nearby with his wife and 3 cats, Hazel, Lasagna, and Muffins. In his free time, he enjoys playing the cello.

Jaiden
Jaiden , Client Service Representative

Jaiden joined Suburban in 2023 as a Client Services Representative. She has several years of experience in veterinary medicine and is looking to become a registered veterinary technician in the future.

Jaiden is from Columbus, although most of her family lives in Michigan. She has 4 siblings and 2 dogblings, Bleu and Finnegan.

Jaiden lives with her pittie mix named Beaumont, who gets the zoomies with every nail trim! Her favorite pastimes are reading and playing the Sims 4 or Stardew Valley. She also enjoys baking and cooking new things with whatever ingredients are in her kitchen.

Justin, Client Service Representative
Justin graduated from The Ohio State University in 2022 with a degree in Psychology. At work, he takes pride in being efficient and proficient. He enjoys streamlining processes.

Justin’s hobbies include playing the guitar, drums, and synthesizer. He also enjoys working with computers and new technology. He is constantly exploring new and obscure music and enjoys fashion.

Justin’s feline companion is a beautiful Calico named Tobin.

Aaliyah, Client Service Representative
Aaliyah joined Suburban Animal Clinic in 2023. She brings a few years of veterinary experience with her. She has a love for animals of all shapes and sizes and enjoys working with them.

Aaliyah’s pet family currently includes her cat Gunner, a very special and very energetic kitty.
